Competitive event to brainstorm for ideas and innovations and find the supreme hackathon competitors across the country who will come together to solve the nation’s toughest problems in driving the country’s three main industries forward: Agriculture, Tourism, and Logistics.

The format will be a 168-hour hackathon competition, starting with more than 100 teams (3-5 members per team). During the competition, teams will be given a problem statement, asked to come up with solutions, and present them to the judges. All of this is to find the best 10 teams who will go on to help solve the country’s challenges alongside national and global organizations. The work and performance of the 10 winning teams will be continuously monitored for 1 month after the competition.

The 10 winning teams will receive the following prize money:

• 1^st Place winner receives a prize money of 1,000,000 baht (One Million Baht)
• 2^nd Place winner receives a prize money of 500,000 baht (Five Hundred Thousand Baht)
• 3^rd Place winner receives a prize money of 300,000 baht (Three Hundred Thousand Baht)
• 4^th – 10^th Place winners receive a prize money of 50,000 baht (Fifty Thousand Baht)

*Remark: Those who wish to participate in the HACKaTHAILAND Competition must have completed at least one basic and one intermediate course on the HACKaTHAILAND Learning Platform.

*Remark: Award recipients must pay withholding tax (5%) of the prize money received.

 There will be a workshop at the event to provide additional knowledge to participants. Special keynote speakers, both Thais and foreign experts, will be invited to share their knowledge and experiences. Additionally, these workshops will be broadcasted through Facebook: HACKaTHAILAND channel for the general public to follow.
