Hey everyone, it’s almost time! Ever since the Cataclysm beta timeline was released, I’ve been counting down the days. I’m really looking forward to WoW Cataclysm Gold. Just this week, I logged back into Wrath of the Lich King to do a bit of organizing and check what I have. While tidying up, I stumbled upon literal free gold in the form of inscription.

Let me share a bit of history here. At the start of Wrath of the Lich King, I went crazy for inscription. I made around a million gold, which at that point was a crazy amount. I was so busy selling that I didn’t even start leveling until two weeks in. I crafted multiple Insane titles and kitted out most of Dalaran with my wares. The profits back then were wild.

Now, looking at the margins today, I think there’s still real potential for anyone with the will to mill. Currently, trinket prices are between 2,000 and 4,000 gold, with a sale rate of 0.086 to 0.090. Anything above 0.1 is a decent sale rate. So, while these trinkets may not sell constantly, they will sell consistently and at low margins. And that’s all we need.

I can’t hand in my decks today to demonstrate how easily these are selling, as the faire doesn’t arrive until Sunday. So, I’ve just bought a couple of trinkets and now I’m selling them to check it out. The selling process was fine; they both sold within 8 hours. I had to repost them twice, which is pretty reasonable.

Now, let’s talk about the cost of crafting. Eternal life is under one gold, and Icebloom is under 30 silver. After doing some calculations, we expect it to cost around 750 gold per Noble’s deck to craft. Remember, you’ll also get other trinkets when you make the Darkmoon cards. Greatness, which is the Noble’s deck, is the one you want, but others also sell, just slower and cheaper.

If you do get really bad luck or miss one card, you can trade with somebody else or buy a single card off the auction house. However, be cautious, as your deck’s value may swing wildly. This is a hustle that requires some starting gold. If you’re short on gold, consider looking through some of my older Wrath of the Lich King videos.

To start, you’ll need around 5 to 10,000 gold. You’ll need to do a crazy amount of milling, which can be quite tedious. I have a macro that I bind to my mouse wheel to make it feel a bit better. Additionally, I use an add-on called FasterLo, which speeds things up. After milling, you’ll need to craft your ink, specifically the green ink, and visit the ink trader in Dalaran.

Crafting cards in bulk is my preference. I never craft just one or two, as the RNG can be too powerful. Crafting 25 cards usually results in more manageable outcomes. Once you have your cards, put them together and make a deck. Now, you have to wait for the faire to hand them in. When you do, you can choose between spirit, agility, strength, or intellect.

Agility is usually the best choice, followed by strength. Intellect is alright, but never choose spirit. Finally, you have your trinket. That’s great, but so does everyone else. If the price is good with cheap WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold, that’s fine. But if not, consider holding onto them until the faire is away.

You might be thinking that this is a lot of hassle, so let’s do a bit of math. These trinkets cost around 700 to 750 gold to craft, and they are selling for 2,000 to 4,000 gold. This is absolutely worth a bit of work. Good luck, and please do try it. Let me know how you get on. I hope you found this guide useful today, and if you did, please take a moment to like and subscribe. It’s so helpful for the channel. Thanks a lot. Bye!
